Everything you need to know about running your business with OneTouch Order.

One Touch Order is a complete ordering and management platform designed for takeaway and delivery restaurants. It brings together everything you need to run your business — from taking orders at the counter and online, to managing your menu, tracking deliveries, and keeping customers coming back.

There are no third-party commissions. You own your customer relationships, your data, and your brand.

Everything stays in sync in real-time. When you update your menu on the POS, it instantly updates on your website. When a customer orders online, your POS alerts you immediately. When you assign a driver, they get the delivery details on their phone straight away.

The POS terminal is where you spend most of your day.

Screen Layout:

The screen is divided into three areas:

1. Category Sidebar (Left) — Your menu categories (Mains, Sides, Drinks, etc.)
2. Menu Grid (Centre) — The items in the selected category
3. Order Panel (Right) — Your active order, customer info, and checkout

Starting an Order:

Walk-inThe default for counter customers. You can optionally type a name.
CollectionTap "Add Customer" and search by phone or name. You can also add a new customer.
DeliverySame as collection, but you'll also enter or confirm the delivery address.

Adding Items:

Tap any item in the Menu Grid to add it to the cart
Items marked "Sold Out" are greyed out and cannot be selected
If an item has options (like sizes or toppings), a selection panel appears automatically

Customising Items (Modifiers):

Selection GroupsPick from a list (e.g., "Choose your Sauce"). Some require a minimum selection.
Upgrade GroupsA toggle that changes the item (e.g., "Make it a Meal" — Yes +£1.50). May reveal further choices.
Nested OptionsSome choices only appear after selecting an upgrade.

Managing the Cart:

Edit an itemTap the pencil icon to change quantity or update options
Remove an itemTap the trash icon to delete it
Per-item notesTap "Add Note" under an item for special instructions
Order-level notesUse the "Add Notes" button at the bottom

Discounts:

Percentage offe.g., 10% off the total
Fixed amount offe.g., £5 off

Checkout & Payment:

1. Choose Cash or Card
2. Mark as Paid (payment received) or Not Paid (pay later)
3. The order completes, a receipt prints automatically, and the screen resets

Today's Orders:

Tap "Today" at the top to see every order placed today. Each order shows order number, total, time, type, payment method and status. Tap any order to expand it, assign a driver, or reprint.

Incoming Online Orders:

1. Audio alert — A persistent chime repeats until you action the order
2. Notification banner — A card appears at the top of the screen
3. Review & Accept — Check items and address, then tap Accept. Add a time delay if needed.
4. Auto-print — Once accepted, the receipt prints automatically

Online Orders Management:

A dedicated page with a full status workflow: Received → Preparing → Ready → Out for Delivery → Completed. You can also void or delete orders, see estimated ready time countdowns, and assign drivers.

Your online store is a fully branded website where customers can browse your menu, build orders, and pay — all without any third-party marketplace fees.

Menu Browsing:

The full menu loads instantly with categories displayed as scrollable sections
A sticky category bar lets customers jump to any section
Items with images display as visual cards; items without appear in a clean list
Sold Out items show a badge and can't be ordered
Sale items show the discounted price with the original crossed out

Adding Items:

Simple items can be added with a single tap, with +/- controls for quantity
Items with options open a full-screen modal with all modifier groups, special instructions, and a quantity selector
The "Add to Basket" button is disabled until all required choices are made

Cart:

A cart icon shows item count and running total
Full breakdown: subtotal, discounts, delivery fee, service charge, and grand total
Customers can adjust quantities, remove items, or apply a coupon code

Coupons (Customer View):

Public coupons appear in a "Discounts & Offers" section
Eligible items on the menu show the discounted price directly
Coupon codes are validated instantly when applied

Featured Content:

A featured slider showcases promoted items
Instagram-style Stories appear as a carousel at the top of the menu

Offer Wheel:

If enabled, a floating button launches a spin-to-win wheel. Winning triggers confetti and generates a unique coupon code. Results are determined server-side.

A mobile-first app for your delivery team. Drivers log in with their own account and see only what they need.

How It Works:

1. You create driver accounts in the POS settings
2. Drivers log in on their phone via the Driver Companion app
3. You assign orders to drivers from Today's Orders or the Online Orders page
4. Drivers receive the order instantly with customer details, items, and address
5. Built-in navigation provides turn-by-turn directions to the delivery address
6. Drivers update the order status as they progress, which is reflected on the customer's tracking page in real-time

What Drivers See:

Their assigned delivery queue
Full order details: items, modifiers, notes, customer name, phone, and address
One-tap navigation to the delivery address
Ability to update order status (Out for Delivery → Completed)

Access from Settings → Customers on the POS.

Customer Address Book:

Search customers by name, phone number, or postcode
View each customer's total order count and last order date
Add new customers with full details including address (with address autocomplete)
Edit or delete existing customer records

At Order Time:

Search for an existing customer by phone or name
Select them to attach their details to the order
Or create a new customer on the spot
Delivery addresses are validated against your allowed postcodes

Bulk Operations:

CSV ImportBulk import customers from a spreadsheet
CSV ExportExport all customers to a CSV download

Access from Settings → Coupons on the POS.

Creating Coupons:

Each coupon has a unique code and can be configured with:

Discount TypePercentage off, Fixed amount off, or Free Item (BOGOF)
TargetGeneral (anyone) or Targeted (specific phone number)
Public/PrivatePublic coupons are displayed on your website; private ones require the code
Min Order ValueRequire a minimum spend before the coupon applies
Max UsesLimit the total number of times a coupon can be redeemed
Validity DatesSet a start and end date
Applicable ItemsRestrict to specific items or categories
Active/InactiveEnable or disable at any time

Coupon Types:

Percentage offe.g., 10% off the order
Fixed amount offe.g., £5 off
Free Item (BOGOF)The cheapest qualifying item from a chosen category is made free

How Customers Use Them:

Public coupons are visible on the website in the "Discounts & Offers" section
Customers can copy the code and paste it at checkout
Eligible items show discounted prices directly on the menu

Smart Deals are special discounted offers shown to customers right before they checkout online.

How They Work:

1. You configure Smart Deals in Settings → Smart Deals
2. When a customer proceeds to checkout, they see a page of discounted items
3. Items are shown at reduced prices with the original price crossed out
4. Customers can add deals to their basket or skip and continue to checkout
5. Smart Deal items are flagged on receipts and in order history

This is designed to increase average order value by presenting tempting last-minute offers.

Printed Reports:

Tap "Print Report" to print a full financial summary to your thermal printer.

Push Notifications:

Compose and send push notifications to all subscribers
View subscriber count to see your reach
Notification history to see what you've sent before

Email Campaigns:

Create email campaigns with pre-built templates
Templates available: Receipts, loyalty rewards, re-engagement, thank-you messages

Featured Items:

Select items to highlight in a promotional slider on your online store homepage.

Stories:

Create Instagram-style story content that appears at the top of your online store. Upload images for story slides, reorder and manage stories.

When Receipts Print Automatically:

When you tap Confirm on a completed in-store sale
When you Accept a new online order

Both can be toggled on/off in Settings → Printer.

When your store is closed, customers can still browse the menu but are automatically directed to place a preorder.

Tracking Pixels:

Connect your advertising accounts: Facebook Pixel, TikTok Pixel, Snapchat Pixel, Google Analytics.

Other Options:

Each coupon is unique, single-use, and expires in 5 days

Re-engagement (Win-back):

Customers who haven't ordered in 14 days automatically receive a "We miss you!" email with a unique 15% discount coupon

For Merchants:

Q: Can I update my menu during service?

A: Yes. All menu changes apply instantly to both the POS and your online store.

Q: How do I mark an item as sold out?

A: Go to Settings → Menu, find the item, and toggle "Out of Stock".

Q: Can I have different prices online vs in-store?

A: The menu is unified — the same prices appear everywhere.

Q: How do coupons work with sale items?

A: Coupon codes cannot be stacked with items that are already on sale.

Q: Can I see who my most loyal customers are?

A: Yes. The Customer section shows each customer's total order count and when they last ordered.

Q: Can I void an order?

A: Yes. From the Order History or Today's Orders, tap any order and select Void. You must provide a reason.
